International Sales Executive

Job Summary:The International Sales Executive will be responsible for driving overseas sales, managing distributor relationships, achieving sales targets, and expanding the company’s global footprint across assigned countries. The role involves handling end-to-end sales activities — from lead follow-up and quotation to order closing, documentation coordination, and payment tracking — ensuring a smooth export process and long-term business partnerships.Key Responsibilities:1. Global Lead Management & Sales ConversionFollow up on qualified leads shared by the marketing department and convert them into active buyers. Maintain detailed records ofcountry-wise and product-wisesales inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and conversions. Coordinate with theMarketing, Documentation, and Dispatchteams for smooth lead transfer and order execution. Respond promptly to buyer inquiries and preparecompetitive quotationsbased on product specifications, freight, and regulatory requirements.2. Business Development & Market ExpansionIdentify and onboardnew distributors and importersin target countries through online research, exhibitions, and trade platforms. Develop and maintainstrong relationshipswith existing customers to generate repeat business. Understandcountry-specific market needs , pricing trends, and product demand patterns. Regularly analyzesales performance by country, region, and product categoryand suggest strategic improvements.3. Sales Communication & NegotiationConduct business communication throughemails, calls, and online meetingswith international clients. Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, incoterms, etc.) aligned with company policies. Follow up onpending quotations, orders, and paymentsto ensure timely closure. Handlecustomer complaints or queriesin coordination with QA and Export teams.4. Export Process CoordinationCollaborate withExport Documentation, Accounts, and Productionteams to ensure smooth order processing. Ensure timelyPI issuance, order confirmation, LC coordination , and shipping arrangements (FOB, CFR, CIF, DDP). Trackorder dispatch status , logistics, and payment follow-ups.5. Market & Competitor AnalysisResearch competitors’ activities, market share, and pricing for benchmarking. Gatherimport/export datafrom trade databases and analyze opportunities in emerging markets. Share feedback with management onmarket behavior, customer preferences, and regulatory updates.6. Exhibitions & Client VisitsRepresent the company atinternational exhibitions and trade fairs . Manage pre- and post-event communication and lead follow-ups. Assist visiting clients during factory visits or audits and ensure a professional experience.7. Reporting & CRM ManagementMaintain daily and weekly reports of leads, quotations, and conversions. Update CRM / Excel trackers with latest activities, client interactions, and follow-ups. Preparemonthly sales analysiswith performance trends, target achievements, and forecasts.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong communication and email writing skills in English. Good negotiation and presentation abilities. Knowledge ofexport documentation and incoterms (FOB, CFR, CIF, DDP) . Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and online research. Understanding ofmedical device or healthcare product marketsis an advantage. Self-motivated, organized, and target-driven personality.Qualification & Experience:Bachelor’s / Master’s degree inInternational Business, Marketing, Management, or Life Sciences. 2–5 yearsof experience in international sales (medical devices / pharma / healthcare preferred). Experience in dealing with overseas distributors, tenders, and institutional buyers.
