Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced Data Science Consultant to serve as a critical bridge between data engineering and analytics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud-based ML environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform) to design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning solutions.Key Responsibilities : - Act as a liaison between data engineering and analytics teams to ensure smooth data and model workflows.- Perform data wrangling, feature engineering, and machine learning model prototyping.- Support pipeline automation, CI/CD processes, and model deployment on GCP (Vertex AI).- Collaborate closely with the AI Lead to operationalize and maintain ML pipelines.- Integrate models and data services via APIs for production applications.Skills & Qualifications : Technical Skills : - Programming : Python, SQL- Cloud Platform : Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Vertex AI)- Machine Learning Frameworks : scikit-learn, TensorFlow- Data & API Integration : REST APIs, data pipeline tools- Version Control & CI/CD : Git, Jenkins (preferred)Professional Skills : - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities- Experience working with cross-functional teams- Excellent communication and documentation skills (ref:hirist.tech)
