Our portfolio includes services like Statutory Audit, Ind AS Conversion, IFC Audit, Tax Audit, Accounting Manual, Limited Review, Group Reporting, Certification and Capital Market Support.About COEM S K A’s COE Practice supports Firms client–serving Assurance teams with performing testing procedures including substantive and controls testing, vouching, verification etc. across industry sectors, including manufacturing, real estate, information technology etc.Firms’ COE enables its client–serving Assurance teams to meet their audit requirements.As part of our COE Team, you would be the main point of contact for the tasks assigned by the client serving assurance teams and be responsible for test of controls, substantive testing etc. Also, you will be responsible for maintaining the timeliness and quality of deliverables along with managing day to day operations of those engagements.Job Description:Position - Associate / Senior Associate, Centre of Excellence (COE) – Audit & AssuranceLocation - PuneQualification - Qualified Chartered AccountantDiploma in IFRS / Certification course on Ind-AS would be an added advantageSkills - Candidate should have sound knowledge of Accounting Standards, Auditing standards and should be able to practically apply these concepts.- Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal and written) - Strong Project Management - Have the ability to work under pressure under stringent deadlines - Should possess good interpersonal skills and be able to manage team and interact with the team. - Proficiency in MS office and OutlookExperience- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1 to 4 years of post qualification experience in Audit & Assurance function / Shared Service environment from a reputed entity.- Candidate should have sound technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounting standards (IGAAP, Ind-AS, IFRS), Companies Act, etc. and should be able to practically apply these concepts.Associate / Senior Associate, Centre of Excellence (COE) Profile- Demonstrate strong understanding of Firms Methodology while performing reviews of work performed by Analyst / Sr. Analyst - Ensure day-to-day delivery of audit support services, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with Firm methodology as well as regulatory requirements - Manage and supervise junior team members - Ensuring compliance with engagement plans, internal quality & risk management procedures - Should demonstrate knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and keep up to date with new pronouncements relating to Auditing / Accounting standards - Act as a SPOC for the COE with the Audit Teams in terms of data flow, communication, co-ordination and discussions - Proactively taking up full responsibility of documentation and guiding/monitoring junior resources of the team. - Support Team Leads in Project Management, preparing status updates etc - Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Build a strong talent pipeline through structured training, rotation, and engagement programs. - Develop and maintain productive relationships with Assurance teams - Ensure adherence to internal controls, data confidentiality, risk management procedures and audit quality standards. - Support the team on standardization of processes, documentation, analysis of technical issues, and research solutions. - Identify opportunities to improve work performed at COE.As an Associate/Senior Associate you will be required to lead the execution & review at the COE as mentioned above and report to Delivery Head.
