The role requires deep expertise in testing distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, and automation frameworks, along with strong leadership and collaboration skills.About the RoleWhat you'll do at EvoluteIQ:Lead and mentor SDET/QA team Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Understand the customer use cases and incidents and come up with test scenarios as needed Define platform-centric QA strategy, policies, and best practices. Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks for platform services. Ensure testability and reliability of microservices and distributed systems. Automate tests across API, UI, performance, reliability, and security. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for platform components. Develop contract testing, service virtualization, and chaos testing strategies. Drive test planning, execution, and reporting for platform releases. Reduce defect leakage. Collaborate with Product/Engineering/DevOps to ensure platform stability and release readiness. Lead RCA and drive continuous quality improvements.Qualifications15+ yrs in QA/SDET; 4–6+ yrs in leadership rolesRequired SkillsStrong coding skills: Java/Python/C#/JavaScript. Hands-on with automation for platform/microservices architectures. Strong experience with CI/CD – Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps. Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, messaging. Cloud experience – AWS/Azure/GCP. Experience with platform reliability engineering and observability tooling. Strong communication & problem-solving skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, service mesh Knowledge of contract testing, chaos engineering, security testing Background in building/maintaining platform products Familiarity with IaC pipelines and performance engineeringWe value a range of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and ideas.
