JS & Sons Logistics — Moving your world forward.Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Freight Broker to join our logistics team in our office at Gurgaon, Haryana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing freight shipments, building relationships with carriers and shippers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation solutions. This role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the logistics and transportation industry.Key Responsibilities:- Source and secure carriers to move freight in a timely and cost-effective manner. - Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to maximize profitability. - Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and other logistics partners. - Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that arise. - Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including load details, carrier agreements, and billing. - Use transportation management systems (TMS) to manage loads and documentation. - Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the shipping process.Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics role. - Strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics operations. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite. - High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.Preferred Skills:- Existing network of carriers and shippers. - Experience with load boards and freight matching platforms. - Knowledge of different modes of transportation (e.g., truckload, LTL, intermodal).Experience : Minimum 1 Year to 5 years
