Head - Financial Planning & Analysis - NBFC/BFSI

Role description is as mentioned below:


Key Financial Planning:


- Develop and implement robust budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes tailored to the NBFC sector.


- Align financial strategies with the companys lending, asset management, and revenue goals.


- Conduct scenario analysis to assess the impact of market, regulatory, and credit risks.


Financial Analysis & Reporting:


- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, including AUM growth, NIM, delinquencies, and cost of funds.


- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for the board, investors, and regulatory bodies.


- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.


Capital Management:


- Collaborate with the treasury and risk management teams to optimize capital allocation and funding strategies.


- Support decisions on debt/equity financing, securitization, and other capital market Collaboration:


- Partner with business unit heads to evaluate financial performance and guide decision-making.


- Work closely with the compliance and risk teams to ensure alignment with RBI and other regulatory guidelines.


Process Improvement & Systems Optimization:


- Drive the adoption of advanced tools and technologies for financial analysis and reporting.


- Enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of financial processes to support scalability.


Team Leadership:


- Lead and mentor the FP&A team to deliver high-quality insights and actionable recommendations.


- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.


Key Qualifications:


- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CA preferred).


- 10+ years of experience in FP&A, financial strategy, or similar roles, preferably in the NBFC or BFSI sector.


- Strong knowledge of NBFC-specific metrics, regulations (e.g., RBI guidelines), and credit risk management.


- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.


- Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).


- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
