About YouWe are seeking an experienced, highly organized, proactive self-starter, someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, with sales or brand/product management experience. The candidate should have strong commercial experience ideally in a client-facing role, with a passion for brands.The RoleYou will be working within a fast-paced environment, with responsibility for generating new business for a global brand portfolio and managing Indian licensee partners. This varied role will include the following duties and responsibilities:Ideating Brand Extension strategy for clients.Developing and pitching prospects, negotiating commercial terms and finalising legal contractsLeading the development of all business plans as well as working with clients to develop and deliver strategic licensing plansSales, Licensee and Client ManagementAnnual budgeting and quarterly forecastingWorking closely with licensees to oversee product development, approvals, customer presentations, as well as expanding product and territory opportunities.What You NeedA minimum of 2-3 years experience in business development, brand/product development or category managementProven commercial experience: prospecting, pitching and contract negotiationFluency in English; multi-language skills desirableAbout UsLicenseWorks is a market leader in Brand Extension & Brand Licensing services in the Indian market. We help global corporate brands launch new products and services. We do this by identifying innovative and impactful brand extension opportunities, and subsequently finding and securing specialist manufacturers/retail partners under a license agreement.
