We at LawSikho are looking for a Financial Controller.

- As a Finance Controller you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of the company.

- This includes financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and internal controls.

- We are looking for someone who is familiar with accounting standards, IndAS, internal audit and has the ability to go to the ground level to see if things work and not rely on information provided by junior or even senior staff and someone with good knowledge of Income Tax and GST.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial statements and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Developing and managing the annual budget and financial forecasts.

- Monitoring and analysing budget variances and providing insights to management.

- Supporting strategic planning and decision-making with financial analysis.

- Establishing and maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard assets.

- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulatory requirements.

- Conducting regular audits and risk assessments.

- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Managing cash flow and working capital to ensure the company can meet its financial obligations.

- Overseeing treasury functions, including banking relationships and debt management.

- Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team and fostering collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.

- Participating in strategic projects and initiatives to driving business growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.

- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in financial management, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.

- Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP systems; strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- We are seeking individual who can thrive in the following work conditions:.

- Primarily office-based with occasional travel required.

- May need to work extended hours during peak financial periods, such as year-end closing.
