We are disturbed every time when we read that a patient couldn't be saved by a Hospital / Doctor’s clinic in a tier 3 location because of lack of access to the right medicines. With its commerce platform, Care.Fi is solving this problem, enabling hospitals to buy Pharma at a click of a button & also enabling the transaction through our financing platform. Care.Fi aims to make it a 3- step checkout process.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in finance, particularly within Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs). As a Financial Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting Research technical accounting issues for compliance Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Additional controller duties as necessary
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
- 2+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- CA certification preferred
- Experience with creating financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- Able to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace
