Sales Marketing Manager

This Position is to work with the EMC/EMI department of the QCS organisation.

As a sales and marketing manager at an EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) / EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) test lab, you would be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing activities of the laboratory, which provides testing and certification services to ensure that electronic products meet EMC/EMI regulatory standards. The job description for this position may include, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:


1. Business Development:

  - Identify and develop new business opportunities in the EMC/EMI testing market.

  - Expand the lab’s customer base by targeting industries requiring EMC/EMI testing, such as aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, medical devices, military, and telecommunications.


2. Sales Management:

  - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.

  - Manage key customer accounts and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

  - Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain the lab's services to potential clients.

  - Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.


3. Marketing Strategy:

  - Develop and execute marketing plans to promote the lab’s testing services.

  - Coordinate with the marketing team to create marketing materials, such as brochures, datasheets, and case studies.

  - Manage online presence, including the lab’s website and social media accounts, to enhance visibility and market reach.


4. Market Analysis:

  - Analyze market trends and competitors to adjust sales and marketing strategies accordingly.

  - Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify new market opportunities.


5. Customer Support:

  - Provide excellent customer service to retain existing clients and attract new ones.

  - Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.


6. Technical Knowledge:

  - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EMC/EMI testing standards, regulations, and best practices.

  - Understand technical aspects of the testing services to communicate with clients and effectively align services with their needs.


7. Collaboration:

  - Work closely with the technical team to ensure the lab’s capabilities meet customer requirements.

  - Coordinate with other departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure cohesive business operations.


8. Reporting:

  - Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.

  - Track sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 plus years of experience in the testing industry
  • Experience in marketing or related field
  • Strong creative, analytical and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Quality Standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
