JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the Job:
The Senior Curriculum Managers along with their team of Curriculum Development Managers help us achieve this mission by designing world-class curricula, assessments and lesson plans that meet the needs of affordable schools in all parts of India. Create best-in-class learning products in India. Manage specific projects and deliver them within agreed-upon timelines. Highly competent professionals who are excited by the idea of democratizing quality teaching tools and techniques to students and teachers in APSs.
This role will report into the Associate Curriculum Development Director or the Curriculum Development Director. They will have 4-6 direct reports as well.

Key Responsibilities:

➢ Creating errorfree curriculum and content(for their subject) which will be consumed by teachers and students.
➢ Creating, editing and proofreading content to ensure grade appropriateness of skill, concept and difficulty levels being used
➢ Researching best practices and innovating new ways to enhance learninginLEADpartnerschools.
➢ Coordinating with design, DTP and editing teams to take titles for publishing in print and digitally.
➢ Visiting LEAD schools from time-to-time and engaging with field teams to understand on-ground for delivering the right relevant content to the different categories of school excellent education.
➢ Leading the resource allocation for the projects for the year, ensuring timely delivery of all plans, resources and projects.
➢ Coaching and managing a team of Subject Matter Experts & Curriculum Development Managers, along with supporting them in their professional development.
➢ Reviewing and providing feedback on content created by Senior Curriculum Architects and
Curriculum Development Managers, to ensure that it is high quality and error-free.
➢ Setting clear goals for the team and ensuring achievement as per LEAD quality standards.
➢ Creating clear curriculum development processes and guidelines for consistent and efficient
delivery of product.

Ideal Experience Profile:

➢ Should have an educational background in English literature and language teaching
➢ Must have some experience in publishing
➢ Experience in project management
➢ Interest, experience and curiosity about ED tech
➢ Fantastic communication skills
➢ 3 years of experience in managing projects, teams and time lies
➢ Expertise in G Suite products
➢ Willingness to learn and master new tech platforms used by the internal teams
➢ Minimum years of experience in developing content creation, lesson plans, student material and teacher training resources.
