Job Title : Senior Workato Developer Location: Marathahalli , Bangalore (Hybrid) Experience: 7+ Years Primary Skill: Workato (Mandatory) Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Workato Developer with 7+ years of experience in enterprise integration , automation, and API development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workato , designing scalable and efficient integration solutions to connect diverse enterprise applications. This role requires hands-on experience in Workato recipe development, API integration, error handling, and performance optimization . Key Responsibilities: Architect, design, develop, and deploy Workato-based integrations and automation solutions . Lead and mentor a team of developers in implementing best practices for Workato workflows . Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to define integration strategies. Develop and optimize Workato recipes, connectors, and API-based integrations with enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, Jira, etc. ). Ensure robust error handling, logging, and performance optimization in all integrations. Implement custom connectors using Workato SDK and extend platform capabilities as needed. Stay up-to-date with Workato's latest features, API updates, and industry best practices . Drive security best practices related to API authentication, OAuth, and data encryption. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration issues . Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer for internal teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in iPaaS and enterprise integration , with at least 5+ years dedicated to Workato . Expert-level proficiency in Workato , including Workato recipes, connectors, and API development . Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and data transformation techniques. Experience with authentication protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and API key-based authentication. Hands-on experience integrating with enterprise systems ( ERP, CRM, HRMS, Finance, ITSM ). Scripting experience in JavaScript, Python, or Ruby (for advanced Workato automation). Strong SQL/NoSQL database knowledge for data processing and transformation. Ability to architect and optimize large-scale Workato automation pipelines . Experience in error handling, logging, monitoring, and debugging of Workato integrations. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and API management tools . Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Preferred Qualifications: Workato Certifications (e.g., Workato Automation Pro, Workato Integration Pro). Prior experience with other iPaaS platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier, Tray.io, etc.) .
