Description : About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned Security Architect specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to design, implement, and maintain robust IAM solutions that secure user identities, control access to critical systems, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.You will lead the architecture and strategy for IAM frameworks, working closely with security, IT, and business teams to safeguard organizational assets and enable secure access across on-premises and cloud environments.Key Responsibilities : - Design and architect scalable, secure, and compliant IAM solutions aligned with business needs and security policies.- Lead the implementation and management of IAM systems including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance, and Directory Services.- Define IAM standards, policies, and best practices to ensure secure identity lifecycle management.- Collaborate with IT, security teams, and business stakeholders to integrate IAM solutions across applications, platforms, and cloud services.- Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling related to identity and access vulnerabilities.- Evaluate, select, and manage IAM tools and technologies (e.g., Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, SailPoint, Ping Identity).- Lead IAM-related audits, compliance reviews, and remediation efforts to meet regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, or PCI-DSS.- Develop and maintain IAM architecture documentation, including diagrams, workflows, and technical standards.- Mentor and guide security and IT teams on IAM best practices and emerging trends.- Stay current with the latest developments in IAM technologies, cybersecurity threats, and industry regulations.Requirements : Experience : - 7+ years of experience in information security with at least 3-5 years focused on Identity & Access Management architecture.- Proven track record designing and deploying IAM solutions in enterprise environments.Technical Skills : - Deep understanding of IAM concepts : authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, SSO, MFA, PAM, and Identity Governance.- Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, SailPoint, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, or CyberArk.- Familiarity with directory services (LDAP, Active Directory) and federated identity standards (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).- Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptographic methods, and identity-related compliance frameworks.- Experience integrating IAM with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS applications.- Proficient in scripting or automation to support IAM workflows and reporting (ref:hirist.tech)
