Job Description :

You will be closely working with the internal and external team through Excel application and adapting it to the specific needs of a challenge or requirements to automate repetitive tasks and accelerate the workflow of a business.

This is done using the Visual Basic for Applications and MacrosB.

Responsibilities :

- Experience : 2 to 5 years of extensive experience as a VBA developer

- Develop automated solutions using VBA

- Ability to handle multiple projects

- Good understanding of SDLC concepts

- Well versed with complete MS Office package (Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT)

- Must be good at all excel features and excel formulas

- Ability to do POCs on new tech stack and to integrate the same in the applications on the functional level

- Ability to design small as well as large applications on enterprise level

- Ability to understand the business requirements and translate that into an application

- Should be able to plan projects with complete details like efforts, timelines and wireframes

- Ability to work under tight timelines

- Assist in project management of micro-innovation projects

- Create tools, templates, process documents etc

- Ability to work with cross-functional / domain teams

- Manage, maintain and troubleshoot Test Automation support

- Basic Python knowledge is a plus

Experience in and Skillsets Required :

- Strong skills in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), with experience developing automated reporting from multiple data sources.

- Strong understanding and expertise in advanced MS Excel

- 2+years VBA development experience (User Defined Functions, Automation Macros, and scratch written code, both procedural and class-oriented, Error Handling, Process Validation, Forms, and ADO/record set handing)

- Understanding of credit underwriting process is a plus.

- Ability to work independently.

- Strong communication (both written & verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
