Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Mysuru on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in various accounting software and tools to assist in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading family-managed FMCG businesses in the private sector under our experienced management consulting framework.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel (Mandatory skill) is essential for data analysis and reporting, enabling precise financial tracking and forecasting.
  • Experience with ERP to manage enterprise resources adeptly through efficient financial processes and operations.
  • Firm grasp of Tally ERP (Mandatory skill) for accurate recording of daily transactions in line with financial policies and regulations.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks for maintaining comprehensive financial records, streamlining accounting processes.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Financials to perform finance functions effectively, ensuring accurate and reliable financial data management.
  • Experience in Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports, facilitating informed business decision-making.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for managing databases, enabling efficient data retrieval and transaction processing.
  • Basic understanding of Python for performing data analytics tasks, promoting efficiency and accuracy in reporting.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records for our clients, ensuring all bookkeeping activities are timely and accurate.
  • Assist in financial audits and prepare detailed reports on account status and changes for management review.
  • Handle accounting entries in Tally ERP and SAP to ensure seamless workflow and data consistency.
  • Prepare financial statements and coordinate with clients to manage financial reporting and compliance activities.
  • Analyze financial data using Excel and provide insights into potential cost savings and revenue enhancements.
  • Utilize Power BI to create dashboards, aiding both internal teams and clients in strategic planning and risk assessment.
  • Engage in continuous education on financial best practices and emerging technologies like SQL and Python.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance accounting processes and drive operational efficiencies.
