Role Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Developer to join our team on a part-time basis and contribute to innovative AI-driven fintech projects. The developer will be responsible for backend web development, API integration, and deployments with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The day-to-day tasks include programming, cloud deployment, and maintaining databases. This role is open to candidates with at least 2 years of full-time, relevant work experience. If you have a passion for backend and cloud deployment, this is a perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using CLI and Terraform.
  • Design and implement Pub/Sub systems and API deployments on GCP (preferred).
  • Develop and maintain backend systems using Python and FastAPI.
  • Utilize Cursor AI or GitHub Copilot to enhance coding efficiency and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 full years of relevant full-time work experience.
  • Relevant experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) deployment using CLI and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in backend development and Python coding.
  • Hands-on experience with FastAPI.
  • First experience with LLMs and tools like Cursor AI or GitHub Copilot.
