Assistant Manager - Business Development


LOCATION - MUMBAI


Job Brief

We are looking for a high-performing motivated personnel with experience in business development and sales of Architectural and Decorative Lighting Products / Architectural Products to help us meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets in a niche market thus keeping our company competitive and innovative.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relations with Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors and High End Clients.You will closely work with the executive team to develop and implement sales strategies that align with our business goals.

PS: Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals is must.


Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:


  • We are looking for highly motivated sales specialists having experience in business development and sales of Architectural and Decorative Lighting Products / Architectural Products, having good connects with architectural and interior design firms
  • Developing and maintaining relations with Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors and High End Clients.
  • Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals is must.
  • Taking ownership for completion of assigned tasks.
  • Conversion of leads, enquiries, product-specified projects to sales.
  • Support marketing, promotion and training activities.
  • Creating brand presence through social media and reaching the target clientele.


Requirement and Expertise:


  • Min 4+ years’ experience in high end Architectural and Decorative lighting or Architectural products is a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: good listener, respectful, approachable, engaging.
  • Flexible with work schedule specifically for evening demonstration events.
  • Professional and positive conduct in words, actions, body language and grooming.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong individual sales, engagement and demonstration skills.
  • Possess excellent team player skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Open to travel as and when required.
  • Sales experience with premium brands or service-oriented industry preferable.
  • Positive attitude, interest and willingness to understand ILDL's products and technology portfolio.
  • Education: Architectural or Design Graduate / Interior Design Diploma / Management Graduate or above with MBA from a reputed institute / Lighting Designer.
  • Must possess enthusiasm, passion, sales drive and confidence to succeed.
