Primary responsibilities:


Merchandising

  • Responsible for the Shoe line Presentation for Distribution business.
  • Define and Execute Price Ladder.
  • Understand Market Requirement and help to build and review Collections as per Market Needs.
  • Work with Regional Team to assist range for Department stores.
  • Drive Innovation on Material/Design/Quality/Price with Distribution Team
  • Propose new concepts in the category/Brand and familiar with latest trends, technology & methodologies.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively; Decide the selling period of the new concepts.
  • Collaborate on costing the articles based on concepts, distribution & margin keeping in mind minimum cushions required or reduction.

Market Research

  • Keeping track of the emerging trends and prices in the market and also analysis the emerging buying trends.
  • Prepare seasonal trend board, story board and paper collections.
  • Keeping in touch with the Sales Team, Store Managers and Customer Service Department.

People Management

  • Lead the team of designer and development
  • Hiring of appropriate staff and trained them on Product, competitive products, consumer, and operations
  • Motivation and retention of staff
  • Career Planning for high potential employees within the organization
  • Proactive succession planning for key roles within the Business
