noon, the region's leading consumer commerce platform. On December 12th, 2017, noon launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done.

As a Merchandiser, the candidate will be responsible for handling the planning, in-season management & commercial steering of a key part of our developing Automotive business across all our channels & customer types. As we are very much still a startup at the core, we are looking for somebody deeply passionate and committed in making an impactful contribution to the region.


What you'll need :


  • Managing and preparing the divisional marketing budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensuring all financial KPIs are being met or exceeded.
  • Managing product life cycles and ensuring appropriate ranging decisions are made.
  • Influence, manage and develop the assortment strategy alongside the commercial team,
  • Ensure the assortment and ranging policies are aligned to the wider business strategy,
  • Re-planning and forecasting of the relevant variables including OTB, sales, margin, profit, stock turn and margin mix highlighting opportunities, threats and required action.
  • Drive establishment of relationships with key internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensure best in class data driven approach to reporting, analytics, planning and in-season management.
  • Working alongside the onsite team to manage the marketing calendar and campaigns.
  • Develop and/or manage onsite merchandising strategies (brand/category pages).
  • Support with content hygiene and improve content quality.
  • Liaison with the monetization team for brand-level partnership and investments.


What you ’ll need :


  • Experience in the on-demand services industry is preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills.
  • General retail skills and business acumen.
  • Strong problem solving, communication and team skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
