Role Overview

We're looking for a detail-obsessed QA Specialist with 2+ years of experience testing Shopify websites, custom sections, and CRO landing pages. You'll be the final gatekeeper before our work goes live, ensuring every pixel, button, and user flow works flawlessly across devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Shopify websites, custom sections, bundles, and landing pages for functionality and accuracy
  • Perform cross-browser & cross-device testing (desktop, tablet, mobile)
  • Validate Shopify-specific features: variant selectors, bundle logic, cart behavior, checkout flow
  • Compare live builds against Figma designs for pixel-perfect matching
  • Check content accuracy: copy, links, images, alt text, and brand guideline adherence
  • Document bugs clearly in Asana with screenshots, device/browser info, and reproduction steps
  • Conduct regression testing after fixes
  • Use tools like BrowserStack, Lighthouse, GTmetrix, and PerfectPixel to test performance and visuals
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and PMs to maintain high-quality launches

Requirements

  • 2+ years QA experience in the Shopify ecosystem (themes, apps, Liquid templates)
  • Strong understanding of HTML/CSS rendering differences
  • Experience testing responsive websites across multiple breakpoints
  • Familiarity with BrowserStack (or similar), PerfectPixel, and page speed testing tools
  • Proven ability to spot small visual and functional issues before launch
  • Excellent bug reporting and communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced agency environments with tight deadlines

Nice-to-Haves

  • Basic understanding of Liquid and Shopify theme code
  • Experience with CRO tools like GA4, Hotjar, or VWO
  • Exposure to performance optimization checks
