Key Responsibilities Would Include :

- Seeking candidates with hands-on leadership experience in developing and implementing software products for the Insurance and Financial markets.

- Partners with business product leadership to develop strategies and technology roadmaps.

- Positive client engagement at senior levels, managing and navigating relationships with peers, business line leaders, and engagement across the Protect matrix of services.

- IT solution development that aligns with the company's strategic architecture.

- Manage vendor solutions and deliverables.

- Responsible for the delivery of complex Product/Application Engineering projects.

Experience :

Job Qualifications :

- Total experience in range of 14-16 years.

- 5+ years of experience in Java,, Postgres,, GCP, and Angular/React etc.

- Ability to lead team technically although coding is not expected.

- 10+ years of progressive experience in Product and/or Software Development.

- 5 - 8 years of experience leading technology teams.

- Proven success in delivering complex, high-impact projects with measurable business outcomes.

- Minimum 3 years of support in cloud-based data technologies.

Education :

- A BS in Computer Science or an equivalent degree is highly preferred.

Technical Expertise :

- Deep expertise in Core Java and the Java ecosystem (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate).

Architecture & Design :

- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and principles (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture, REST APIs).

Databases : Hands-on experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.
