Parallelly, MetSights brings this intelligence into precision-care tools for healthcare and wellness professionals.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Scientist (Systems Biology) who can lead the design, execution, and interpretation of computational systems-biology models across multiple physiological domains. This is a key role that blends computational modeling, physiology, multi-omics integration, and translational science.The ideal candidate is domain-flexible, methodologically strong, and capable of guiding an interdisciplinary team while delivering scientific rigor and actionable insights for both internal platform development and external R&D projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Biology & In-Silico Modeling- Develop and refine multi-scale, constraint-based, and mechanistic models for human physiology (metabolic, immune, cognitive, skin, gut, or other relevant domains). - Integrate omics (metabolomics, genomics, transcriptomics, microbiome), clinical markers, and literature-curated mechanisms into unified computational frameworks. - Derive mechanistic hypotheses and translational insights for nutraceutical, functional food, and wellness R&D projects.Cross-Domain Research & FlexibilityAdapt systems-biology approaches to diverse health contexts:- Metabolic health & energy pathways - Immune & inflammation processes - Gut–microbiome interactions - Cognitive development & neuro-metabolic links - Skin-health & barrier physiology - Women’s health & child nutrition - Aging systems biology - Rapidly learn new domains and translate biological knowledge into computational form.Leadership & Collaboration- Lead a multi-disciplinary scientific team, ensuring reproducibility, documentation, and delivery quality. - Work closely with mathematical modeler, physiologists, nutrition & clinical scientists teams. - Contribute to building the domain specific ΩmeX knowledge graph, physiological ontologies, and multi-domain modeling pipelines for scalable MetSolve offerings.Scientific Communication & Delivery- Prepare high-quality scientific reports, client presentations, white papers, and publication-ready material. - Support proposal development, grant applications, and strategic collaborationsQualifications & Experience- PhD/Post-Doctorate in Systems Biology, Computational Biology, Quantitative Physiology, Bioengineering, or related domain. - 5-8 years of experience in systems-biology modeling, multi-scale data integration, or computational physiology. - Proven expertise in: Multi-organ or multi-pathway physiological modeling, Host–microbiome interaction modeling, Mechanistic or kinetic models (QSP preferred but not mandatory) - Strong proficiency in MATLAB / Python, with ability to design end-to-end modeling workflows. - Ability to mentor junior researchers and lead multi-domain scientific workstreams. - Strong writing, documentation, and scientific interpretation skills.Attributes We Value- Domain-agnostic scientific curiosity with ability to work across metabolic, immune, cognitive, skin, and developmental physiology projects. - Systems-level thinker capable of connecting mechanism → phenotype → clinical relevance. - High ownership, detail orientation, and scientific rigor. - Ability to translate deep models into practical insights for R&D and product development.Compensation & Growth- A compensation structure that is fair, competitive, and aligned with expertise and responsibility. - Opportunity to grow into Scientific Manager & Leadership roles as MetSolve expands. - Work on impactful, multi-domain projects bridging mechanistic biology, computation, and product innovation. - A deeply collaborative environment across science, technology, and translational healthcare.Why Join Us- Build next-generation multi-domain systems-biology models underlying the precision-health revolution. - Contribute to impactful projects in wellness, product innovation, and computational healthcare. - Work with a deeply interdisciplinary team at the intersection of AI, biology, and clinical translation. - Shape the future of the ΩmeX ecosystem, influencing scientific roadmaps across MetSolve and MetSights.Interested candidates may apply through this post and send cover letter and CV to talent@metflux.in
