Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior OT (Operational Technology) Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Engineering and Innovation team in Bellandur, Bengaluru. This role is instrumental in defining the strategic and technical direction of OT/IACS (Industrial Automated Control Systems) cybersecurity.

You will act as a cybersecurity influencer at the Enterprise level, contributing to secure-by-design methodologies, standardized solution architectures, and the secure implementation of digital technologies across various IT foundational platforms, Digital Platforms, and OT/IACS Business Units.

This position requires a strong grasp of business breadth and technical depth to enable quality cybersecurity investment decisions, positively impacting global cybersecurity practices and delivering on the integrated risk management strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

- Contribute significantly to OT/IACS Cybersecurity initiatives, technology projects, and security programs for one or more digital platforms.

- Actively contribute to the design and review of secure IACS/OT network architectures and data flows, including detailed communication analysis between applications, ports, protocols, and services.

- Contribute to the creation and refinement of OT/IACS cybersecurity guardrails and IT engineering standards, ensuring that all OT architectures, solutions, and technologies across the enterprise are built using a secure-by-design methodology.

- Utilize and apply industry standards and frameworks, including but not limited to NIST-800-53/82, IEC-62443, and MITRE ATT&CK / D3FEND, to identify capabilities and technologies that provide enhanced cyber defenses in diverse operational scenarios.

- Collaborate broadly across multiple IT Foundational Platform product lines, select Digital Platforms, and OT/IACS Business Units to influence and drive cybersecurity best practices.

- Provide technical expertise to help stakeholders make informed cybersecurity investment decisions, balancing risk and business objectives.

- Engage in activities that positively impact global cybersecurity practices across various operating assets and environments, supporting the cybersecurity integrated risk management strategy.

- Develop and maintain documentation related to secure OT/IACS architectures and security standards.

- Participate in incident response activities related to OT/IACS cybersecurity incidents.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers as appropriate.

Required Work Experience :

- Minimum 2 years of related work experience in the Operational Technology/Industrial Controls Systems Cybersecurity field, with increasing levels of responsibility.

- "Hands-On" experience with OT/IACS critical infrastructure in energy or similar industries is preferred.

Preferred Required Education / Degrees :

- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field is preferred, but not required.

Preferred Qualifications / Certifications :

- Certifications in Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity or in IT Cybersecurity are highly preferred. Examples include GISCP, GCIP, CISSP, or other similar certifications.

- Vendor-specific training on Operational Technology, IACS equipment manufacturers, and internal network systems are highly preferred.

- Certifications in SAFe Scaled Agile or related scrum/agile project management frameworks are desirable.
