Position: Sourcing Manager/Country Buyer (FG)

Department: Supply Chain

Reports to: Head Procurement

Looking for +People handling contract manufacturers +RM & FG Sourcing

Purpose of the position:

- To assure the purchase of finished goods in accordance and supporting the subsidiary GM and the guidelines set forth by HQ Purchasing

- To run optimal purchasing processes cost management, vendor management, innovation management in coherence with HQ Purchasing

- To maintain positive, proficient and long term relationships with the assigned suppliers

- To scout new sources for existing or newborn products

- To follow up purchasing projects in order to support the development and the running activities of Prepare the price negotiation with the suppliers and carry out the first phases of it

- Update the cost and the breakdown database

- Manage price list and maintain them updated

- Propose the standard costs for the year

- Propose the target costs for novelties

- Continous search in the Indian market for new suppliers more attractive from cost, quality and risk point of view, even for global projects set at the Group level

- Handle the supplier portfolio

KPIs:

- Average cost vs standard cost (variance) improvement

- Price list vs target cost for novelties

- Average DPO improvement

Tasks and duties:

- Cost Management

- To analyze the base cost of the product and to propose the standard purchase cost

- To propose the target cost for new items in accordance with Central Purchasing and Marketing

- To analyze and constantly monitor the variance between effective cost and standard

- To analyze the raw material trends and those of the finished goods to anticipate the evolution of the real cost

- To negotiate and to define the purchase price list

- To negotiate and to define the supply agreement

- Vendor Management activities

- Handle the actual supplier portfolio, acting specially in the relationship with the supplier for whatever relevant topic, even if not purchase related.

- To do Vendor Monitoring and Vendor Rating, updating continuously the Risk Map;

- To analyze and update service, quality, financial solidity and innovation capability variables.

- To propose improvement plans to be actuated by supplier that have been identified as critical

- To actively research new suppliers, new sourcing area\districts, completing the preliminary visits, analyzing the financial data, and proposing wherever necessary the full quality audit

Innovation management activities:

- To analyze critically up and down cost impacts generated by product change requests coming from Marketing or other function

- To support the setting of target costs

- To actively research on the open market new products and technologies that can be coherent with company strategy

Seniority: Senior Buyer

- Necessary elements of the profile: English Speaking, aged up to 35, University Level,

- Appreciated elements: at least 3 years in the same position, deep knowledge of Indian Sourcing Market, Finished Goods, FMCG, International experience
