Essential Responsibilities and Duties Design and execute test cases for user stories, exploratory testing, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios. Develop and maintain reusable test suites across releases and projects. Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and ensure testability throughout the SDLC. Track and triage defects; perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution. Test case development using Gherkin Contribute to identifying automation opportunities and assist in test data preparation, automation maintenance, and test results validation. Maintain QA metrics dashboards to support continuous improvement.Required Skills and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, IT, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of manual software testing experience in Agile environments. Strong experience with exploratory and structured testing across web-based platforms. 3+ years of writing SQL queries and validating data using MS SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or AWS Pipelines. Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Strong communication and analytical skills; comfortable collaborating across technical and non-technical teams. Self-motivated and able to work independently in dynamic, ambiguous environments.Preferred: Experience writing test cases using Gherkin or similar BDD syntax. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, or REST Assured. Exposure to automated test frameworks, such as Playwright, Selenium/TestNG, or Cypress. Experience supporting automation engineers with test data management or maintenance of automated scripts.Key Attributes Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Able to operate independently and handle changing priorities.
