We are seeking a Lead AI Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AI, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science, along with proven implementation skills. Expertise in Deep Learning is a plus.

We incorporate LLM and Copilot technologies throughout our solution lifecycle, and we are looking for individuals passionate about innovatively applying these technologies.

AI is at the core of our platform, driving both UX and backend. We need engineers who are eager to engage in every phase of the solution lifecycle and embrace the technologies we use to build cutting-edge solutions.

Role: Lead AI Engineer

Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI,

Statistics or Math

Experience: 5+ years in AI/ML engineering roles, with at least 2-3 years in a senior technical leadership position.

  • Proficiency in rigorous reviews of requirements, design, code reviews and offering quality feedback.
  • Analyzing and resolving software defects and performance bottlenecks.

Technical Expertise and Familiarity

  • Strong experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning (e.g., ANN, RNN, Transfer Learning), and NLP techniques.
  • Proficiency with LLM technologies, causal inference, and A/B testing.
  • Familiarity with gradient descent, multi-objective optimization, and combinatorial optimization.
  • Solid experience in data visualization tools (e.g., matplotlib, Tableau).
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Python, R, SQL.
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, SkLearn.
  • Experience with databases: Oracle, SQL/NoSQL, MySQL.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML models for retail optimization.
  • Collaborate with data/AI engineers, solution engineers, retail experts, and enterprise architects to implement solutions and improve data models.
  • Build analytical tools to provide actionable insights into key business metrics such as operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
  • Deploy AI models into production environments, manage data attributes, computing resources, and set up monitoring tools.
  • Innovate AI infrastructure, automate processes, and redesign systems for greater scalability and efficiency.
  • Develop, customize, and manage integration tools, databases, and analytical systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
  • Ensure AI solutions are scalable, efficient, and optimized for performance.
  • Stay updated with AI research and integrate emerging technologies into solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable AI systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and model performance issues to ensure reliability.
