Job Title: Senior Trainer – Laboratory Automation (Pharma Industry) Location: Remote Job type: Part-TimeAbout the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamicSenior Trainer – Laboratory Automationprofessional to develop, deliver, and evaluate technical training programs focused on laboratory automation systems and instruments used in pharmaceutical R&D and QC environments. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of automated laboratory workflows, systems integration, and regulatory compliance within pharma labs (GMP, GLP).Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs on laboratory automation platforms, instruments, and software. Conduct hands-on sessions for new users and experienced professionals covering system operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and data integrity. Train cross-functional teams (QC, QA, R&D, IT, and Engineering) on integrated workflows involving automation systems. Collaborate with OEMs, automation vendors, and internal stakeholders to update and align training content with the latest technologies and regulatory standards. Develop competency assessment tools and certify participants post-training. Maintain training records in compliance with GxP and documentation requirements. Support qualification/validation activities and train teams on IQ/OQ/PQ processes for automated systems. Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, audits, and performance metrics. Mentor junior trainers and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in laboratory automation.Required Skills & Competencies: Strong expertise inlaboratory automation systems(e.g., Tecan, Hamilton, Agilent, Waters, Thermo Fisher, Mettler Toledo, etc.). Deep understanding ofLIMS, ELN, CDS, and integration with automation platforms . Hands-on experience withinstrument qualification, method validation, and compliance documentation . Excellent understanding of21 CFR Part 11, GAMP5, GMP/GLP guidelines, and data integrity principles . Exceptional communication, presentation, and coaching skills. Ability to simplify complex technical topics into engaging and practical training content.Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree inPharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Instrumentation, or related field . Certification inTraining & Development / Instructional Design(preferred).Preferred Background: Prior experience working inQA/QC labs, R&D automation, or equipment validationwithin regulated pharmaceutical or biopharma environments. Exposure todigital lab transformation projects or automation implementation . Proven track record oftraining technical teamsin regulated industries.
