Started in 2019 at SINE IIT Bombay Peppermint Robotics has grown into a leader in commercial cleaning robots industrial material handling robot and has its operations across 6 countries. Peppermint Robotics has teams based out of its offices in Pune (INDIA) Dubai (UAE) and Austin (USA) and is looking to add leaders and builders to its HQ team at Pune (INDIA) Job Overview: Peppermint is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Legal Counsel and Company Secretary (CS) to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a fastgrowing startup that is manufacturing Robots in India. The ideal candidate will have 23 years of experience in legal and company secretarial roles and will be responsible for a wide range of legal and compliancerelated tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Drafting and reviewing of contractual arrangements with employees consultants customers vendors etc.; Issue legal notices to clients for nonpayment and handle incoming legal notices from vendors employees and other parties Manage corporate secretarial functions including board meetings minutes and resolutions Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements Liaise with external legal counsel on need basis Prepare the Legal MIS on monthly basis Maintain a Compliance Calendar of the company contracts compliances etc. Managing endtoend legal issues. Assist in the formulation and implementation of legal strategies and policies Qualifications: Law degree (LLB) from a recognized university. Company Secretary qualification (CS) is preferable
Experience: 23 years of experience in a legal and company secretarial role. Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian corporate and labor laws. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Will be Reporting to: Lead CS Legal & Finance
