We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our product engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will design and execute test strategies, create automation frameworks, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver flawless user experiences. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong technical skills, a passion for testing, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Review product requirements, specifications, and technical documents, providing meaningful feedback.

- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities across multiple releases and projects.

- Design, develop, and execute automation frameworks and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify, record, and track bugs.

- Perform thorough regression testing when issues are resolved.

- Continuously improve and optimize automation coverage and test efficiency.

- Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).

- Collaborate with developers to triage and troubleshoot issues.

- Provide clear test reports and communicate risks to stakeholders.

- Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product management teams to ensure product quality at every stage.

- Take ownership of projects and showcase key testing accomplishments.

- Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of quality and accountability.

Requirements :

- 57 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance.

- Strong technical programming skills with exposure to multiple coding languages and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, PyTest).

- Proficiency in SQL for validating data integrity and backend testing.

- Experience in manual testing, automation, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (Git).

- Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently, multitask, and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced start-up or agile environment.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to accept and provide feedback constructively.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (preferred).

- Candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered.

- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI).

- Exposure to performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, k6).

- Cloud testing experience with AWS / Azure / GCP.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

- Passion for continuous learning and keeping up with the latest QA trends, tools, and technologies.
