Description :About the job :Job Title : Embedded Developer - Android & Multimedia (Automotive Domain)Job Description :We are looking for an experienced Embedded Developer with strong expertise in Android and Multimedia systems for automotive applications.The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and optimizing embedded Android platforms and multimedia frameworks used in next-generation automotive infotainment systems.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and integrate Android-based embedded software for automotive platforms.- Work on multimedia frameworks audio, video, camera, codecs, and streaming.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (System, Hardware, BSP, and QA) for feature development and issue resolution.- Optimize performance, memory usage, and system stability.- Debug and resolve issues across Android framework and HAL layers.- Support system bring-up, integration, and validation activities.Required Skills & Experience :- 3- 8 years of experience in Embedded Software Development.- Hands-on experience with Android Framework, HAL, and Multimedia Stack.- Strong knowledge of C/C++, Java, and Android build systems (AOSP).- Experience in multimedia components like AudioFlinger, Stagefright, OpenMAX, GStreamer, or similar.- Familiarity with Automotive infotainment, Android Automotive OS (AAOS), or IVI systems is a strong plus.- Good understanding of debugging tools (adb, logcat, gdb) and performance profiling.Preferred :- Experience with SoC platforms (Qualcomm, NXP, Renesas, TI).- Knowledge of Automotive standards (ASIL, AUTOSAR, CAN, MOST).- Exposure to Linux kernel and device drivers (ref:hirist.tech)
