Product Engineer

We're looking for a skilled and experienced nCino Product Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in product engineering, with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience working directly with the nCino Loan Origination System (LOS). You'll be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and support, focusing on delivering effective, high-quality solutions for our clients.Key Responsibilities : - Design and Development : Implement and support the nCino Loan Origination System, including configuration, administration, and integration.- Workflow Management : Develop, maintain, and enhance workflows within the nCino platform to optimize loan origination processes.- Technical Troubleshooting : Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, including metadata dependencies and merge conflicts.- Collaboration : Partner with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and QA, to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.- Data Management : Oversee data migration and ensure seamless data flow between nCino and other banking systems.- Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing : Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and help mentor junior team members.- Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify and address technical debt and opportunities for process improvements.Technical Skills : - nCino Platform : Deep, hands-on experience with the nCino Loan Origination System, including its configuration, administration, and implementation.- Salesforce : Proficient in Salesforce APEX development, including a strong understanding of the Salesforce data model and platform.- Integration : Experience with nCino/Salesforce integration development, including REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints.- Development Practices : Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), software design patterns, and engineering best practices, including version control systems like Git.- Cloud & DevOps : Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment automation.- Databases : Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL) and data modeling.Functional Knowledge : - Banking & Financial Domain : Strong understanding of the banking domain, including the functional aspects and terminology of commercial loan origination.- nCino Modules : Hands-on experience with multiple nCino modules and the full product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.- Stakeholder Management : Proven ability to work effectively with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.Education : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical industry experience.- Relevant certifications, such as nCino Certification and Salesforce Certifications, are highly desirable (ref:hirist.tech)
