Job Title: QA Engineer - Manual and Automated Testing

Exp level - 2.5 years to 4 years

Job location - Tidel park, Coimbatore (Work from office from the Day 1)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer with expertise in both manual and automated testing to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify testing needs.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover usability issues and edge cases.

- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

- Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.

- Participate in release planning and validation activities.

- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools.

- Experience in creating and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber / Appium, or similar.

- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).

- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (RESTful APIs).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

- ISTQB or similar certification in Testing is added advantage.

- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and tools.
