Technical Writer
As a Technical Writer at Draup, You will follow and enhance our style guides to create clear and concise information to help Draup customers succeed. You will collaborate with product, customer success, and internal business partners (such as UI designers, data scientists, and software development engineers) to develop strategy and content. You will participate in content management efforts, process development, and quality governance in support of team success.
What you'll do:
- Develop a keen understanding of the product to be able to appropriately communicate the value of the product, feature, or service to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to understand the product and come up with engaging writeups for existing and new features
- Assist the product management team with in-application walkthroughs that follow the user guides and best practices
- Develop a strong and consistent messaging style
- Own and maintain the knowledge bank and support content repository. Periodically audit content to ensure they are in line with current feature functionalities
Who you are:
- 3-5 years of experience in the high-tech industry as a content writer or similar position
- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in English, communications, linguistics, creative writing, journalism, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Fluency in written US English
- Ability to understand and communicate your concept to global audiences
- Proficiency in working with AI language models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and others to enhance content creation and editing.
- Understanding of the business environment and keeping track of emerging business trends
- Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS)
