Job Overview

The Social Media Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Sales departments.


Key Responsibilities:


1.Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy:

- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across social platforms.

- Develop a content calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.

- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales.


2. Content Creation:

- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).

- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.


3 Campaign Management

- Design and execute social media campaigns to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company.

- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content.


4. Analytics and Reporting

- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.

- Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.

- Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).


5. Collaboration

- Work with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages.

- Liaise with influencers and other content creators to expand our reach.


6 Stay Updated

- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

- Use social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.

- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.

- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.

- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.

- Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.

- Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
