We are seeking an enthusiastic Certificate III Educator  to join our team at Church Street Children's Centre .

At our purpose-built centre in West Footscray, we provide a welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
At Church Street Children Centre, our play-based program builds children’s confidence and skills, preparing them for a successful transition to school.

We encourage children to care for their environment and actively expand our knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

This is an ongoing, full-time position, with a rotating roster between 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

About you

• You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference.
• You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child. 
• You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member. 
• You have a drive to grow and improve continually. 
• You value kindness and respect. 
• You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations. 
• You hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first aid certificate. 
• This role offers the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, including opening and closing the centre and being recognised as the Responsible Person.

About the role

• You'll create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow. 
• You'll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework. 
• You'll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues. 
• You'll actively participate in a culture of reflection and continuous improvement. 
• Support daily operations by managing open and close responsibilities and serving as the Responsible Person
