About the Role

We are actively searching for a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer with

expertise in Python and MLOps to become a key member of our team. In this role, you will

leverage your expertise in DevOps practices to ensure the excellence and dependability of

our software solutions. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work collaboratively with

cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance

professionals, to establish and maintain a resilient and high-performance software

ecosystem.

Competencies:

1. Must-have Technical Competencies - skills

a. 5+ years of experience in DevOps

b. Expertise in designing, configuring, implementing and optimizing CI/CD

pipelines using tools i.e. AWS/Azure pipelines or Github actionsc. Expertise in containerization stack (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) deployment,

monitoring and debugging

d. Experienced in implementing/deploying/managing scalable and resilient web

application/s

e. Demonstrable expertise in scripting and automation, particularly with Python,

to streamline and optimize complex manual processes and workflows related to

machine learning

f. Have established and maintained comprehensive monitoring and observability

solutions using tools i.e. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar

g. Established and maintained comprehensive instrumentation and alerting

solutions using tools i.e. cloudwatch -> SNS -> Pagerduty to ensure high

availability of services

h. Have worked with security/Dev team to enforce robust security practices

throughout the DevOps and MLOps pipelines. Have conduct vulnerability

assessments and implement necessary security measures

i. Have developed and maintained robust disaster recovery and backup

solutions to ensure data integrity, high availability, and model recovery.

j. Exposure on Microservices deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting

k. Have worked on at least one public cloud offerings- AWS, Azure, GCP

l. Experience in integrating & deploying Machine Learning/Deep Learning

models

m. Worked on Kafka, ActiveMQ

n. Have exposure working with Agile/Rapid development processes

o. Experienced working with multiple stakeholders and tight schedule.

2. Nice to have

a. Familiarity JavaScript, Typescript, React.js and Node.js

b. Exposure on Python and/or Java

c. Familiarity with visualization libraries such as D3.jsd. Familiarity with various databases like Postgres, Elasticsearch (ELK), or

GraphDBs

e. Exposure on OpenAI APIs.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Equivalent work experience may be considered.

● Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role with a minimum of 4-6

years of relevant experience.

● Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, with a strong focus on Python,

Bash, or similar languages for automation and orchestration tasks.

● Strong hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and

container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, especially in the context of

deploying machine learning models.

● Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and a successful track record

of managing cloud-based infrastructure.

● Demonstrated ability to configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using

industry-standard tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

● Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible,

Terraform, or Chef.

● Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK

Stack, or similar, and the ability to set up comprehensive monitoring solutions.

● Strong grasp of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and hands-on experience with

IaCtools such as Terraform.

● Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the capability to diagnose and resolve

complex system and application issues.

● A commitment to security best practices and the ability to implement robust security

measures within the DevOps and MLOps pipelines.

● Knowledge of networking concepts and the ability to troubleshoot network-related

issues.

● Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and a deep understanding of

continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.● Excellent communication and collaboration skills to foster effective teamwork within

cross-functional groups.

● Self-motivation and a proactive approach to tasks, with the ability to work

independently and as part of a collaborative team.

● Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a dedication to DevOps and

MLOps best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Advanced certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional,

Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA), or Docker Certified Security Associate

(DCSA).

● Experience with additional automation and orchestration tools, such as Puppet or

Chef.

● Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies (e.g., service

mesh).

● Knowledge of serverless computing platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure

Functions).

● Experience with performance testing tools and techniques (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).

● Understanding of infrastructure and application monitoring solutions beyond the

basics, such as APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools.

● Proficiency in additional programming languages, such as Ruby or Go, for diverse

automation tasks.

● Exposure to multi-cloud environments and managing hybrid cloud infrastructure.

● Contributions to open-source DevOps and MLOps projects or participation in

relevant community groups.

Education and experience requirements may vary depending on the company and position,

but a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Sales or a related

field and several years of experience in scaling a B2B Product sales organization is required.
