Backend Python Developer3-5yrs Location: Bangalore/ Chennai/ Pune/ Gurgaon/ KolkataRole: Backend Python Developer We are looking for a skilled and experienced Backend Python Developer with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in backend development, particularly with FastAPI. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend services and APIs that power our applications. Roles & Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain APIs and backend services using FastAPI Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews Optimize application performance and scalability Implement best practices for security, reliability, and data protection Write and maintain technical documentation for APIs and services Required Skills & Qualifications: 3 to 4 years of professional experience in backend development with Python Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI in production environments Proficient in designing and consuming RESTful APIs Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines Good understanding of asynchronous programming in Python Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good to Have: Experience with Redis, Celery, or background task queues Exposure to AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, or microservices architecture Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience
