Roles & Responsibilities :- Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases across on-premises data centers and cloud environments.- Perform advanced database performance tuning, query optimization, and develop efficient scripts.- Administer database systems on Microsoft and Open Source operating systems and manage deployments in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.- Design and implement robust database backup solutions and disaster recovery plans.- Ensure database security and compliance with regulatory standards and principles.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage storage solutions effectively.- Demonstrate flexibility to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments under pressure.- Maintain strong documentation skills for operational and project-related tasks.- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle databases, and Open Source technologies.- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and related cloud platforms.- Expertise in database backup, disaster recovery, and storage solutions.- In-depth knowledge of compliance principles and database security.- Expected to be an SME- Collaborate and manage the team to perform- Responsible for team decisions- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams- Ensure data security and integrity- Optimize database performance- Implement backup and recovery strategiesProfessional & Technical Skills :- Must To Have Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration- Good To Have Skills : Experience with Oracle Database Administration- Strong understanding of database management systems- Experience in database design and implementation- Knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures- Familiarity with database security best practices (ref:hirist.tech)
