About the Role:

Porter seeks a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to coordinate, lead, and drive Programs across Engineering, Product, Data Platforms, and Business teams. In this role, you will get to work with the Senior Leadership and Program Management team to drive top Strategic Goals for the organization. This is an individual contributor, hands-on role that requires- strong technical acumen, hands-on experience in managing complex cross-functional technical programs, and a can-do attitude to build the best possible experience for our internal and external customers.


Primary responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with Senior Leadership in Program Management, Product & Engineering for cohesive project execution by partnering with other Project Managers, Engineers, Engineering Managers, and external Vendors.
  2. Drive technical programs from requirements through launch, including running complex project schedules, removing roadblocks, and keeping processes running efficiently
  3. As the focal point, schedule and lead status meetings, and handle communication of progress/status within/across engineering teams and Business teams
  4. Hold team members accountable and ensure timely delivery as per Program Timelines
  5. Identify assumptions, dependencies, issues, and risks by driving discussions across the team and developing a mitigation plan
  6. Coordinate with Program Leaders to build sustainable release programs and processes that adhere to top product quality and delivery timelines


Requirements:

  1. Qualification - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering. Post MBA 2-4 years of Technical Program management experience will be preferred.
  2. Technical Program Management: Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional technical programs/Projects in Product, data, and engineering platform teams for 2-5 years.
  3. Technical Expertise: Good understanding of, Product Platforms, Engineering Platforms, software development, system design, and architecture.
  4. SaaS Product Management: Experience in enhancing and optimizing SaaS products and their adoption in the organization
  5. Certifications ( not Mandatory) - Project /Program Management - Prince2, PMP, SaFe (Scaled agile framework), CSM (Certified Scrum master)
