Description :About the job :Were looking for a Mobile Engineering Manager to lead the transformation of our mobile org into a world-class, high-impact team.Our mobile apps are at the heart of how thousands of small businesses manage scheduling, communication, and daily operations and were ready to invest deeply in scaling both our technology and our people.Youll join at a pivotal moment : the foundation is set, and the next step is building a culture of excellence, ownership, and clarity.Youll lead technical direction, mentor emerging leaders, streamline delivery, and bridge the gap between engineering, product, and backend.This is an opportunity to shape not just the mobile architecture, but the future of how mobile engineering is done at AnywhereWorks.Roles and responsibilities :- Provide technical and organisational leadership across mobile platforms and products.- Define and implement mobile engineering standards for architecture, code quality, testing, and deployment.- Mentor and grow the team, creating a scalable leadership pipeline.- Own the long-term technical vision for mobile, including platform evolution and simplification.- Collaborate with PMs, backend teams, and QA to streamline cross-functional planning and delivery.- Lead the transition from contractor-led to self-sufficient, in-house engineering ownership.- Oversee and improve PR review processes, sprint cadence, and release reliability.- Drive alignment on mobile-friendly API design with backend and platform teams.- Create a culture of psychological safety, feedback, and continuous improvement.Must have :- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in a mobile-focused leadership role.- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in both native and hybrid frameworks : iOS (Swift, SwiftUI), Android (Kotlin, Jetpack), and Flutter mobile development.- At least 2 year of experience in Flutter is preferred.- It is an additional advantage if you have worked on transitioning any native projects to Flutter.- Deep understanding of modern mobile architectures, including MVVM, modularisation, dependency injection (e.g., Dagger/Hilt, Koin), and state management.- Experience with monorepo management, multi-module codebases, and shared component libraries.- Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile (e.g., Bitrise, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).- Experience with automated testing frameworks : unit, UI, integration (e.g., XCTest, Espresso, Mockito, Compose UI tests).- Familiar with mobile release management : App Store Connect, Google Play Console, phased rollouts, crash analytics (e.g., Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics).- Able to design or evaluate mobile-friendly RESTful APIs, and advocate for clean, versioned, and well-documented contracts.- Strong documentation practices can produce and maintain architectural diagrams, onboarding guides, and internal playbooks.Why choose FULL :Do you want to work on a product that has transformed the lives of over 60,000 global users?
