A Talent Acquisition Specialist is a professional responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match for a companys long-term goals. They play a crucial role in ensuring that the right people are brought on board to contribute to the organizations success.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with Hiring Managers:
- Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
- Understand the requirements for various positions within the organization.
- Utilize online channels (such as social platforms and professional networks) to source potential candidates.
- Sourcing Candidates:
- Build a strong talent pipeline.
- Interview and Selection Procedures:
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.
- Assess candidate information using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Employer Branding:
- Lead employer branding initiatives.
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
- Relationship Building:
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field.
