Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and highly organized Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various financial tasks, including invoice generation, accounts receivable, payroll processing, financial transactions, and financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to take ownership of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Invoice Generation: Create and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner using Tally and Google Sheets. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.

2. Accounts Receivable: Follow up on outstanding payments, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain updated records of accounts receivable.

3. Payroll Processing: Assist in the payroll process, including preparation of salary slips, calculation of salaries, and disbursement of salaries to employees. 

4. Financial Transactions: Handle financial transactions such as vendor payments, cash management, and accounts management using Tally and Google Sheets. Ensure accurate recording and documentation.

5. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis. 

6. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including daily journals, ledger management, and reconciliation of accounts.

7. Compliance: Ensure timely compliance with relevant laws, tax regulations, and accounting standards. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Some relevant qualification in Finance is preferred.

- Familiarity with Tally and Zoho Books is advantageous.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting and finance roles, with expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in Google Sheets and MS Office suite.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.

- Proactive and enthusiastic about taking initiatives and learning new technologies.
