Job Description:

In the QA engineer role, you will be involved in the overall review and revision of manual and automated testing plans and procedures. You will supervise a team of developers, engineers, and QA testers and ensure alignment with company policies and standard processes. Success in this role will be demonstrated by leading the team’s QA initiatives and efforts to optimize quality control processes, minimize defects, and increase customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Tosca.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues through to resolution.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not adversely affected by new changes.
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution activities.
  • Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve test processes and automation frameworks.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in Tosca for test automation.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with other test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
