**Position Title: Quality Inspector**
- **Department: Quality Assurance**
- **Reports To: Production Head**
- **Location: Belgaum**

**Responsibility**:

- Examine raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for defects, deviations, and compliance with specifications.
- Use measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify product dimensions and quality.
- Conduct visual and physical inspections to detect cosmetic and functional defects.
- Record detailed data from inspections, including measurements, defects, and results.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, which serve as documentation for audits and compliance reports.
- Prepare and submit inspection reports to supervisors, engineers, or quality managers.
- Identify defects or deviations from product standards and specifications.
- Notify production teams of defects and work with them to correct quality issues.
- Collaborate with management or engineers to initiate corrective actions and improvements.
- Observe production processes to ensure that quality control procedures are followed.
- Perform regular inspections at different stages of production to prevent defects and non-conformities.
- Perform routine tests on products, such as functional tests, stress tests, or durability assessments, depending on industry standards.
- Assist in internal audits to ensure the production environment adheres to quality, health, and safety standards.
- Ensure that products meet company, industry, and regulatory standard and Keep up with changes in industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Provide feedback on current QC processes and suggest improvements where necessary.
- Train production staff on quality standards and correct procedures to reduce defects and improve product quality.
- Ensure that quality inspections are performed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Report any safety hazards or non-compliance during inspections and testing procedures.
- Communicate inspection results and quality concerns with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to repair or replace any defective inspection equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: diploma or BE.
- **Experience**: 2-3 years in quality control or manufacturing inspection preferred.
- **Skills**: Proficiency with measuring tools, understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001), attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
