Our client is seeking a professional for a contractual opportunity in Gurgaon.


Key Responsibilities:

Taxation:

  • Handling Indirect & Direct tax matters
  • Expertise in GST implementation, understanding of accounting policies/principles, systems & processes implemented by management for ensuring appropriate controls & proper tax compliance & adherence to accounting standards.
  • Preparation of tax invoices, credit notes, debit notes, etc. containing all the relevant details mentioned under the provision of GST laws
  • Determining the inputs, input services, and capital goods on which taxes have been paid and credit of which are eligible to be taken and determining the reversals of input tax credit availed as per GST laws & applicability of reverse charge mechanism.
  • Ensuring timely deposit of statutory taxes, TDS, GSR, etc. & filling of TDS returns, monthly/quarterly & annual GST returns
  • Perform a detailed analysis of the tax return filed versus the financial records
  • Assessing the potential impact of various tax laws on different business operations of the ADL
  • Handling & supporting in the completion of various audits such as statutory & internal audits, tax audits, GST audits, transfer pricing, etc.
  • Dealing with tax authorities & co-ordination with CATO team & SAP team
  • Collaborate with Product and Technical teams to build the GST-compliant marketplace

 

Sales Accounting:

  • Manage all sales accounting activities including invoicing, revenue recognition, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales forecasting and planning.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation of sales accounting processes
  • Participate in audits and support audit-related activities
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in sales accounting

 

Technical Skills:

  • Should be up to date on tax laws & rules and have an expert level of understanding thereof.
  • Expertise in SAP with a focus on sales and accounting modules
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

 

Required Experience:

  • Chartered Accountancy is Mandatory
  • 5-6 years of experience in Indirect & Direct tax matters & Sales Accounting
  • Prior experience in the E-commerce industry is preferred
  • Expertise in SAP


Important Note: On-site working, 5 days a week + alternate Saturdays
