We are seeking a Creative Lead - Growth, who will be instrumental in bringing stories to life in the audio realm. This role is all about developing content for the story that can be marketable on digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
● Develop a comprehensive framework to identify potential blockbuster stories for Audio long-form fiction.
● Manage, contribute to, and align different stakeholders towards the commissioning strategy tailored to specific genre/subgenre and tropes.
● Improvise, strategize, and develop a framework for content creation ensuring high retention curves for stories within the designated genre/subgenre.
● Create and refine content for stories with an initial duration of 10-15 hours, ensuring marketability on digital platforms.
● Collaborate closely with writers, producers, and other creative team members to refine story concepts and ensure alignment with audience preferences and market trends.
● Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and audience preferences in the audio fiction industry.
● Oversee the production process, providing guidance and feedback to ensure the quality and marketability of the final product.
● Monitor and analyze audience engagement metrics to continually refine and optimize content strategies.
● Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and competitor activities to inform decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
● Cultivate and maintain relationships with external partners, including writers, agents, and content platforms, to facilitate collaboration and distribution opportunities.
● Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops to generate innovative ideas and concepts for new audio fiction projects.
● Act as a champion for diversity and inclusion in storytelling, ensuring representation and authenticity across all content produced.
● Hire & Train: Hire & train team of creators to achieve content creation targets with desired quality
What will make you the right fit?
● Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
● Rich Experience: 8-14 years in fictional content creation across TV, OTT platforms, radio, or films. A background in TV fiction is preferred.
● Effective Communicator: Excellent speaking and writing skills in both English and Hindi.
● Proven experience in content development and management within the audio fiction or related entertainment industry.
● Strong understanding of storytelling principles, genre conventions, and audience dynamics.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
● Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of developing successful content strategies.
● Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to leverage insights to drive decision-making.
● Knowledge of digital platforms and trends in the audio content space.
● Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for market trends.
● Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
● Familiarity with audio production processes and technologies is a plus.
● Data Skills: A keen eye for data-driven insights to guide content creation.
● Leadership Quality: Strong leadership skills, able to manage diverse teams and projects.
