DBiz.ai - Senior ABAP Consultant - Implementation & Support

Description :Job Summary :We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ABAP Consultant with 7 to 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including at least 3 full-cycle SAP implementations.The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SAP integration with third-party applications, along with a deep understanding of SAP modules and business processes.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP, ABAP OO, and other related technologies.- Lead the technical design and development of custom solutions to meet business requirements.- Work closely with functional consultants and business users to analyze and translate requirements into technical solutions.- Develop and support interfaces between SAP and third-party applications using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and APIs.- Optimize and debug existing ABAP programs to improve system performance and reliability.- Develop and implement SAP enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and BTEs as needed.- Ensure best practices and coding standards are followed for scalability, maintainability, and performance.- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).- Stay up to date with SAP technology advancements and recommend innovations where applicable.Required Skills & Experience :- 7 to 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.- Minimum 3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects experience.- Strong expertise in ABAP, ABAP Objects (ABAP OO), ALV, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.- Hands-on experience with SAP integration using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and REST/SOAP Web Services.- Experience with ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, and performance tuning) is preferred.- Good knowledge of SAP Workflow, Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, BTEs), and BDCs.- Experience with Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and debug complex issues.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.- SAP certification in ABAP or related fields is a plus.Educational Qualifications :- Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.- SAP certification (optional but preferred) (ref:hirist.tech)
