About the Role :We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in batch and streaming data pipelines. This role is ideal for a driven professional with over 5 years of experience in data engineering, seeking to lead scalable data infrastructure efforts in a dynamic, data-first organization.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain batch and real-time (streaming) data pipelines.- Build scalable and efficient data architecture for large-scale data processing.- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to support data needs across teams.- Optimize existing pipelines for performance, cost, and reliability.- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all workflows.- Work with cloud-based data platforms to enable high-availability systems.- Document data workflows and contribute to engineering best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.- Proven hands-on experience with both batch (ETL/ELT) and streaming (real-time) data processing.- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.- Strong experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Flink, or similar streaming tools.- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.- Proficient in SQL and working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Dagster.- Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and distributed systems.Preferred Qualifications :- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data deployments.- Experience working with data lakes and data lakehouses.- Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and security standards.- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
