About the Role :

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in batch and streaming data pipelines. This role is ideal for a driven professional with over 5 years of experience in data engineering, seeking to lead scalable data infrastructure efforts in a dynamic, data-first organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain batch and real-time (streaming) data pipelines.

- Build scalable and efficient data architecture for large-scale data processing.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to support data needs across teams.

- Optimize existing pipelines for performance, cost, and reliability.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all workflows.

- Work with cloud-based data platforms to enable high-availability systems.

- Document data workflows and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

- Proven hands-on experience with both batch (ETL/ELT) and streaming (real-time) data processing.

- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.

- Strong experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Flink, or similar streaming tools.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Proficient in SQL and working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).

- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Dagster.

- Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data deployments.

- Experience working with data lakes and data lakehouses.

- Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and security standards.

- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
