To know more, visit:www.sonata-software.comJob Title:SAP Basis Consultant Experience Required:3+ Years Work Location:Bangalore / Hyderabad (Hybrid) Job Type:Full-timeJob Summary: We are looking for an experiencedSAP Basis Consultantwith over 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP system administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SAP Basis, database management, and basic troubleshooting in ABAP and integration tools. This role involves system monitoring, performance tuning, and supporting SAP landscapes across various environments in a hybrid work setup.Key Responsibilities: Perform daily monitoring and administration of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver). Manage system refreshes, client copies, and kernel upgrades. Handle user administration, authorizations, and SAP security tasks. Monitor and troubleshoot SAP HANA, Oracle, and SQL databases. Manage transport requests and maintain the Transport Management System (STMS). Perform system performance tuning and resolve ABAP short dumps. Support SAP system installations, upgrades, and patching. Collaborate with functional teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain system documentation and support audit requirements. Work on ticketing tools like ServiceNow to resolve incidents within SLA.Required Skills: 3+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration. Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and components. Experience with HANA, Oracle, and SQL database administration. Basic understanding of SAP PI/PO and ABAP for troubleshooting. Experience with SAP security, user roles, and authorizations. Familiarity with tools like HANA Studio, SAP GUI, and Solution Manager. Good communication and documentation skills.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GRC, SLD, and SAP Router configuration. Exposure to high-availability setups and DR drills. Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems.
