About the RoleVegah LLC is seeking a motivated SAP Basis Cloud Systems Intern to join our dynamic team specializing in SAP modernization and cloud transformations. You'll work with cutting-edge SAP cloud platforms, support client migrations, and learn the fundamentals of SAP system management in cloud environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP System Administration- Assist in SAP system installations and configurations on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Support SAP S/4HANA system administration and maintenance activities - Learn transport management system (TMS) operations and change management - Assist with user administration, role management, and authorization concepts - Support system monitoring, performance analysis, and basic tuning activitiesCloud & Modern SAP Technologies- Gain hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) - Support SAP cloud deployments and RISE with SAP implementations - Learn SAP integration scenarios using SAP Integration Suite - Assist with SAP system refresh, system copy, and backup/recovery operations - Support SAP Basis activities in hybrid cloud environmentsTechnical Operations- Basic scripting and automation for routine SAP operations - Support SAP connectivity and interface configurations - Assist with SAP security implementations and compliance activities - Learn SAP monitoring tools and early warning system (EWS) analysis - Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity processesClient Support & Learning- Participate in client calls and technical discussions (as appropriate) - Document procedures and create knowledge base articles - Collaborate with senior consultants on migration projects - Support SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation activitiesRequired QualificationsEducational Background- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Strong academic performance with interest in enterprise systemsTechnical Skills- Cloud Platforms: Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP services - Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux administration fundamentals - Database Concepts: Basic SQL knowledge and database administration concepts - Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, and network security basics - Scripting: Basic knowledge of shell scripting, PowerShell, or similarSAP Knowledge (Training Acceptable)- Fundamental understanding of SAP architecture and components - Basic knowledge of SAP modules (preferably through training or coursework) - Interest in learning SAP Basis administration and cloud technologies - Exposure to SAP concepts through academic projects or online coursesSoft Skills- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking -
